Spanish Chinese man died of poisoning after inhaling excessive diesel generator exhaust

A 49-year-old Chinese man died of poisoning when he inhaled diesel generator exhaust gas while working at a decorated fashion store in the northern Spanish city of Santander, the Euro China Daily reported.
It is understood that the accident occurred at about 1:45 p.m. local time on December 6. At the time of the incident, the Chinese was renovating a fashion store in Santander. Due to the use of diesel generators, a large amount of exhaust gas was diffused in the room, and the poor ventilation in the shop, the Chinese man inhaled excessive exhaust gas and became poisoned.
Immediately after receiving the alarm, the local emergency center dispatches emergency personnel to the scene. After several rounds of CPR, first aid personnel sent him to the local hospital to continue the rescue, but the man died because of ineffective rescue. After inspection, the rescue doctor determined that the Chinese died of diesel generator exhaust gas poisoning.
Along with rescuers, local firefighters and police came to the scene, ventilating the shop and eventually closing it. The incident has now been handed over to the police.
